In our league rules it states that we should be using Hoopshype, but I have also be checking with basketball reference. I have found a few times where contracts don't match up.
It seems like basketball reference has the correct information and Hoopshype has a final year missing on a few that I have come across. Once, it was just a normal final year of a contract, and the other time it was missing the player option year. Since we get to keep the player option as part of our contracts, it could be misleading.
Since we are in the midst of picking our teams, I don't want to use specific examples. But, just curious on your thoughts.

'Player Options' and 'Qualifying Offers' are not included as part of our league for salary purposes. We should all use the same salary scale and we have identified that to be Hoopshype. Please disregard what you read on Basketball Reference in terms of salaries. If we all use the same - it does not become an issue. Please PM me if you have an example as I have picked and do not pick again until pick 24.

This was posted in another thread regarding re-signing (under the individual cap-hit question)
"That’s right. Both team options and player options carry over for the two players selected by GMs and are controlled by them. Qualifying offers don’t carry over"

So, we will include both Team options and Player options for out contracts. Qualifying offers are the only ones that do not carry over.
For ONLY the players from out 2 "Original" teams? Or does it carry over for the Expansion draft too?
