The Pacers offer Fred VanVleet 16.5 million for 3 years with a 4th year team option. (2023,23,24,25).
Pacers management feels this offer reflects FVV's value relative to market established with the Donovan Mitchell contract (15m for 4 years) and the D'Aaron Fox contract (14.5 mill for 4 years) and the increase in salary cap.

0-1 This offer assumes that FVV is comparable to both those players but he has consistently finished 10 to 15 spots higher than Mitchell every year ranking inside the top 20. Fox didn't even rank inside the top 90 last year. There has also been a $10 million rise in the salary cap since those contracts were accepted.

0-2 I believe with Fred's consistently high production over the past few seasons and given the recent salary cap increase, this offer should go up slightly.

0-3 for the same reasons Mark and Robin have. FVV finished top 25 and he will continue to have the same usage and production for at least 3/4 years of your contract.
