The Ingersoll Blue Bombers would like to offer Anthony Davis a 4 year (4th year team option) contract worth $20,000,000 per season. We feel offering him a number between Sabonis ($19,000,000 per season and better number across the board) and Embiid ($23,500,000 per season and better numbers across the board) is the right fit for him.
AD has slipped a bit in the last few years and has missed quite a few games (especially at the end of seasons) due to injuries. It is a risk we are willing to take.
Other players on similar levels that have received or are trying to receive new contracts are: Tatum - 22mil Lillard - 23 mil Harden - 23 mil
All three of which are ranked higher (on most sources) and provide more stats to their respective teams. The main concern here is games missed due to injury for AD. He has never played a full season and that should be taken into consideration.

0-1
AD has consistently been one of the elite fantasy performers over the last 5-6 years. He is also still young enough that I believe his slight drop in production during his last injury-riddled season, was just a short term drop in production, which at minimum just brought him level with a player like Embiid.

1-1 While I agree with Robin that this might just have been a short-term drop in production we're here to look at the stats and his numbers did drop. This could, like Nurkic, turn out to be a bargain but so be it.

1-2 AD had a terrible 2021 campaign, he's proven in past years that he's able to finish top 5. Given the comps for top talent are around the 23m mark (Lillard and Harden are both past 31), I'd like to see AD in the range as well. He's 28 years old and you'll be securing him for the prime of his career.
