Stab City Warriors would like to offer Jamal Murray type money to De'Aaron Fox despite him never ranking as highly as Murray and having bad FT% and TOs. We would like to offer a five year contract with the 5th year an option at $13,000,000 a year.

I don't believe the Jamal Murray comparison represents Fox's true value and I believe he should be compared to players a slight level up, such as Booker.
- Looking at the 2019/20 season which the Murray contract numbers are based on, the two players seem very far apart. They both played the whole season and Fox ranked above Murray then as well. Fox was 44 compared to Murray at 55. Numbers wise, Murray's stats were 18.5/4.8/4 which led to the $13,000,000 price tag.
-Fox's numbers last season were much better than that. With 25/7.2/3.8 as main numbers, Fox was also superior to Murray during the 20/21 season. Fox missed a few weeks due to covid but on averages still ranked about 10 spots above Murray, even though his key stats improved to about 21/4.8/4.
Based on his numbers and ranking last season, Fox seems to compare more to Booker and I believe should be paid accordingly. Murray is a good fantasy asset, Fox a more valuable one.

Though call. Robin makes a good argument, but 13 seems right to me.

Fox got significantly better last year and should continue to do so based on how talented and young he is. Will be the number 1 option again next year. What are fox's comps against PGs in his class?
